The little least sandpipers (Calidris minutilla, the two on the left) found a good way to get out of the strong wind, by hiding behind a species that is bigger than them! In this case it was a western sandpiper (Calidris mauri). I like the smug little look on the first least, seems to be pretty proud of himself!
