Bugling bull tule elk
A very large and dominant bull tule elk in Point Reyes National Seashore. This big male had quite a large harem, and chased off a handful of smaller rivals during the time I was watching. He was moving with a distinct limp (on a hind leg) but was still aggressively protecting his harem, bugling across the valley, and mating with females.
