Photographing wildlife in its environment is what drives me as a photographer. While I'll shoot landscapes when a scene strikes me, it's the chance to capture images of wildlife that gets me out of the bed so early to be at a trailhead by sunrise. For me, a successful wildlife photograph is one that emotionally connects the viewer to the subject, and makes one feel as if they were sharing the experience with me. As often as I can, I try to capture moments that bring wildlife to life, and to hopefully share a bit of their personality.
All of my wildlife images are of wild animals in their environment, and they are organized into galleries of related species. If you are interested to view wildlife sorted by location, please use the search page.
