An evergreen tree set against a view back towards Yosemite Valley while hiking up the Mist Trail to Vernal Falls. The fog on the granite slopes obscured the cut where Yosemite Falls flows, however, this image was taken during a September trip when the falls were barely flowing in Yosemite National Park, California.
