Goldfinch on the fence
This lovely female goldfinch (Spinus tristis) was perched on a lichen-covered fence railing in the Tomales Point Parking lot. There's a male just outside of the frame to the left that she's intentionally ignoring. Photo taken in Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, California.
